Tracy’s background is in musical
theater and music education, having worked as an orchestra conductor
and teacher for 10 years before beginning her career with dogs.
She now owns and operates Leader of the Pack Dog Training in Matawan,
New Jersey, where she teaches pet obedience and agility.
Tracy started learning the Say Yes! system after
auditing one of Susan’s seminars in 2000, and now is proud
to be part of the Say Yes! team of instructors. She has also been
lucky enough to improve her training skills by working with Bob
Bailey and his instructional staff of chickens.
Tracy and her husband Fred own five dogs, four of
which came to them as rescues: 2 Dalmatians, a Dogo Argentino, a
Rat Terrier, and an Eskimo/Beagle mix. Tracy has competed in agility
with Dogo Argentino Patch (the first Dogo to ever earn an agility
title) and Dalmatian Pierce, and is now training her baby Rat Terrier
Rebound. Samson, also a Dalmatian, currently
pursues a career as a canine actor and is featured in national advertising
campaigns for Purina, Ralph Lauren, and others.
